Meet Tamara Denson. Tamara is a corporate healthcare attorney from Atlanta, Georgia. I ran into her while she was entered into the Fab over 40 contests. The contest highlighted women over 40 who were successful in their own right. And of course, I like to support my women of color, so you know I voted for her. I started networking with her because I was interested in learning about her journey. When I asked what made her successful, she simply replied “because I’m constantly striving. I’m still a work in progress.”

Tamara had a lot of good advice to share, and I was all here for it. She said for people just starting out on any journey “Believe in yourself. You already have all the tools you need. And don’t be afraid to fail because there are important lessons in the failure.”
